WEDDING POLICIES AND FEES

The Senior Pastor or the Associate Pastor will schedule all weddings. The ministerial staff at Kemble officiate all wedding ceremonies.   The Senior Pastor must approve any outside minister, who will participate in the wedding ceremonies.

The organist must be from Kemble Church or supplied by Kemble Church.

 Wedding Consultants are not allowed to be part of your rehearsal.  The couple and the officiating minister will determine the order of the service, music selections and readings.

 Couples will receive a minimum of two counseling sessions in addition to a planning session and a final meeting to bring in the license and do a final review of the wedding ceremony. Couples who are non-members are expected to attend two Sunday morning Worship Services prior to their wedding.

 Rehearsals are scheduled on the evening before the wedding at either 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.

 All fees are due one week before the wedding.

 The marriage license will be given to the minister when the fees are paid.

 There will be no flash photography during the wedding ceremony.  Please inform your photographer and especially your guests.

 Recording of the wedding ceremony is permitted but lights are not to be used.

 Rice, birdseed or confetti may not be thrown at any time.

 Glitter will not be used on altar flowers, bouquets or in the hair of the bride or her attendants.

 There will be no alcoholic beverages on church premises.  This means no champagne toasts.

 A wedding is not considered scheduled until the paperwork is filled out and the deposit received.

 A $150 deposit is required when the application form is submitted.
